12. Testing After Cleaning

Now that the oven is deep cleaned and reassembled, you must test it to ensure it cooks evenly and verify the product quality.

 

  1. Reconnect the oven to the main electricity supply.
  2. Turn on the gas supply for the gas-fueled ovens.
  3. Switch on the extraction system.
  4. Turn on the oven.
  5. Allow 30 minutes for the oven to thoroughly heat up.
  6. Check the conveyor belt speed to ensure it matches the set speed on the control panel display. For more information, refer to the “Time Control” section of this guide.
  7. Conduct a “Slice & Rise” test to ensure the products bake to Papa John’s standards.

 

If you encounter any issues with the oven assembly or product quality after oven cleaning, stop using the oven and contact an approved service provider.
